Immediately following Tribal Council’s declaration of a public health emergency on Monday, March 16, Marimn Health mobilized its Emergency Operations Committee and began to take action. Marimn Health decreased the potential spread of germs by promoting teleheath visits, delivering glasses and prescriptions to people in their cars, and screening all patients for symptoms of COVID-19. Nurses are checking in with elderly patients regularly to ensure they are in good health and have enough food and medicine. In addition, the clinic has sufficient supplies, testing kits, and personal protective equipment to keep employees safe while caring for community members like you and me.
