WIC Program

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children.  WIC helps families save money, eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy.

For eligible families,
WIC provides:

  • Healthy foods
  • Health screenings
  • Health and nutrition information and counseling from a registered dietitian
  • Breastfeeding information and support
  • Referrals to health and social services

To be eligible for WIC,
you must:

1) Live in Idaho and have a nutritional need

2) You must also fall into one of the following categories:

  • Pregnant
  • Breastfeeding a child under one year of age
  • Just had a baby
  • Have an infant or child under the age of 5 years old

3) meet income guidelines below (effective July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024) :
